Providence Baptist Church normally focuses on OCC in late October and early November annually. Shoeboxes can be filled individually, by group or by simply donating items to go into the boxes and are strictly volunteer.

The WMU of Providence was first organized in 1916 by Miss Ellie Marshall, who also was our first president.
The Woman’s Missionary Union or Women on Missions here at Providence has eleven members. Our mission is to inform and inspire Christians to influence their world for Christ.
Each member receives a monthly magazine called Missions Mosaic, which we study together and have prayer for missionaries on their birthday for that month.
The money given through the cooperative program, the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions, and the Annie Armstrong Easter offering for North American Mission helps support Southern Baptist missionaries.
The WMU at Providence meets at the church on the first Monday of the month at 1:00 pm.
