In the first full week after July 4th, the youth of Providence participate in a week long work camp in partnership with the Peninsula Baptist Association. They travel to Poquoson, VA and spend the daytime helping people with minor home repairs, cleaning yards, and doing a variety of other home-improvement activities. In the evenings they participate in praise and worship services and engage with other student-participants in fun activities like bowling, laser tag, mess-free paint ball, and a visit to Water Country amusement park. It’s a fun week of serving and worshipping God, serving people, and enjoying time with other believers.
