OPERATION CHR
ISTMAS CHILD is an annual event sponsored by Samaritan’s Purse. Many churches around the country take place in this by gathering shoeboxes and filling them with items from toothbrushes to t-shirts to toys for children all over the world. Providence Baptist Church normally focuses on OCC in late October and early November annually. Shoeboxes can be filled individually, by group or by simply donating items to go into the boxes and are strictly volunteer.
